Shipping News

We are happy to report that shipping of the York Phono Preamp continues without any delays and most orders of the York ship on the next business day. In Canada and the US, the York ships by UPS or Purolator and travel times are fast,1-3 business days. We are finding that we are much faster than most of the big online retailers and shipping on the York remains FREE!
​
On another shipping note, we have had to update our standard shipping option for PARTS to tracked service due to the difficulties Canada Post is having at some of their distribution centres. For this reason, there has been a slight increase in standard shipping costs for PARTS only, this does not impact other products.

Shipping News

We are happy to report that shipping of the York Phono Preamp continues largely unimpacted by the delays that seem to be plaguing some courier companies such as Fedex. In Canada and the US, the York ships by UPS or Purolator and travel times have been consistently 1-3 business days since the beginning of the year.

Happy Labour Day Weekend!

Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend. Six Acoustic is pressing ahead with development on at least 2 new products this year, the X-1200 and one other - the details of which should be released sometime soon. Our York phono preamp development and recent launch have been a great success and the focus of much of our energies since spring this year resulting in a bit of a delay in preparation for the launch of the X-1200 power amplifier. Enjoy the sun if you can and please note that shipments scheduled for Monday will be shipped on Tuesday due to the holiday.

All remaining York pre-orders shipped out Sunday and therefore the pre-order phase of this product launch has concluded. The York is now available for general shipping globally. Shipping for the York is now FREE to most destinations. If you find that the system still calculates a shipping cost to your destination at checkout, send us a note and we will endeavour to add your destination to the free zone.

A note about the York Phono Preamp Pre-order

Just a brief note for our pre-order customers for the York Phono Preamp. We are shipping next week! We are finalizing assembly and testing of each unit this week. Next week, we are packaging and shipping to our clients here in Canada and internationally.

For those that have not taken advantage of the pre-order discount already, these are the last few days of the discount. Once the York ships, the pre-order discount ends.

This is a quick update for those already familiar with the launch of the York Ultra High Fidelity Phono Preamp and those who have already placed an order.
We are excited to announce that we have scheduled shipments of the York for the week of July 20th, less than 3 weeks away! Shipping confirmation and tracking information will be sent by email upon shipping.

The current generous pre-order discount will end when the York ships. Take advantage of the $349 pre-order sale (regular $429) on the York pre-order page before they're all gone.

A note about Canada Post during Covid-19

As many are aware Canada Post has suspended their standard of delivery during the pandemic. This means that they have implemented social distancing at their sorting facilities to process mail and parcels that are at Christmas volumes resulting in delays. Based on our recent experience, deliveries that usually took 3-5 days or less pre-pandemic are now in the region of 5-10 business days.

Updates from the lab...

Hope everyone is doing well in these challenging times.
Things have been moving ahead at a steady pace here at Six Acoustic. Our focus at the moment is on the York Ultra High Fidelity Phono Preamp.
Recently, we added FREE shipping to the US for our American friends interested in the York.
We can now confidently say that the York will ship in July having confirmed capacity and lead times with all suppliers. As some already know, securing the housing (and its machining and accoutrements) was the final hurdle now surmounted by our local chassis manufacturer.

For those interested in some updated views, check out the photos on the York pre-order page and you will see some new images of the front and back artwork. Some of these are the mock ups before production and appear white for illustration only. The production finish will be the clear anodized aluminum as seen in the other images.
